Free Comic Book Day (FCBD), one of the comic book industry's most beloved and anticipated celebrations, will take place at local comic shops across the U.S. on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The Retailer Selection Committee, made up of comic shop retailers, chose 11 Gold Sponsor comics and 33 Silver Sponsor comics, allowing fans to discover new titles and genres.
This year's selection of Silver Sponsor comics includes beloved franchises such as Pokémon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Doctor Who, Star Wars, and InvestiGators.

"Every year, we strive to bring fans a memorable Free Comic Book Day experience, and we know comic book retailers are looking forward to treating everyone to a day of fun and discovery, so we hope fans will visit their local comic shops to celebrate," said Ashton Greenwood, Free Comic Book Day spokesperson. "The variety of this year's comic book selection is really exciting! There's something for every kind of fan, from the long-time reader to the comic book curious."
Free Comic Book Day 2024 features 48 free titles available at participating local comic shops, including the following titles that are appropriate for all ages:

- GOLD: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- GOLD: Unicorn Crush: Another Phoebe and her Unicorn Adventure

- SILVER: Boom! Box 10th Anniversary Extravaganza
- SILVER: Doctor Who: The Fifteenth Doctor Faces a Fearsome New Threat
- SILVER: Eye Lie Popeye
